Strikodo is a versatile application designed for both scanning and creating barcodes. It supports a wide range of barcode types and various content formats that can be encoded within them.

Scanning Barcodes

The app utilizes the device's built-in camera for barcode scanning, accommodating different lenses and torch functionality. In addition, users can scan barcodes directly from photos. Strikodo offers both manual and automatic scanning options, enabling users to process large volumes of barcodes quickly.

Once scanned, barcodes are stored within the application, allowing for easy retrieval later. Users can edit, share, or process the saved content as needed.

Creating Barcodes

Barcode creation in Strikodo is straightforward and efficient. Users select the barcode type, specify the content type, and can either manually enter the data or source it from other applications like Contacts or Maps. Notably, the barcode updates live as content is modified, eliminating extra steps in the generation process.

Moreover, Strikodo integrates seamlessly with other apps through a "Sharing" feature. This allows users to create barcodes directly from shared data—such as text, web links, or locations—without leaving their current application. The generated barcode can then be saved and shared from within Strikodo.

Depending on the encoded content, the app provides numerous actions to facilitate interactions. Users can conduct product searches, open links in a browser, make phone calls, send emails or messages, and display locations on a map.

Apple Watch Compatibility

Strikodo also supports access to saved barcodes via Apple Watch. This feature enables users to interact with their barcodes even when their iPhone is not available. The watch can perform specific actions based on barcode content, such as making calls or sending messages.

Widget Support

For ease of access, saved barcodes can be added as widgets on the home screen (iOS 14 and later), allowing immediate interaction without launching the app.
